Saddam/Bush Maclean's cover continues to cause flurry south of the border

Right- and left-wing bloggers and some mainstream media outlets have swung their gaze north because Maclean's played dressup with George Bush and made him look like Saddam Hussein. The current cover story by Patrick Graham continues to cause talk, which was undoubtedly what was intended. In a story on CBC.ca, Rogers Media spokesman Suneel Khanna said blandly that there haven't been any complaints from Maclean's's U.S. subscribers.

A tasteless, stupid and juvenile cover. Comparing Bush to a mass murderer reflects badly on the magazine.

I'm impressed... ABC called Maclean's "Canada's top news magazine"!

But on a serious note, as a Canadian living south of the border - I can assure everyone back home, that nobody hear (accept for the Tucker Carlson's out there) really cares about this.

Maclean's, you are safe to continue embarrassing us all, as "Canada's top news magazine".

Right. Mass murders usually only kill 10 people or less.
