Vancouver wins big at Western
Magazine Awards

Vancouver magazine won big at the 26th annual Western Magazine Awards, taking Magazine of the Year for western Canada as well as the regional BC/Yukon MoY prize and picking up the gold award for best article BC/Yukon with "Bench Strength" by Sean Rossiter as well as winning gold in four other categories. (Current issue of Vanmag shown.)

Other regional MoY winners were:
Best new magazine was unlimited of Edmonton (Venture Publications) and trade magazine of the year was Enterprise.

The gala awards event, presented by the Western Magazines Awards Foundation, was held on Friday night in Vancouver.

I hope it won the "Best Visual Rip-Off of Toronto Life" award, because no one else is doing such a good job at that.
